| 8:00 - 8:30am | Overview of institutional self-study. Major findings, breadth of participation across the college, concordance with institutional strategic planning. |
| 8:30 - 10:00am | Overview of curriculum design and management. Assessment of educational program effectiveness. |
| 10:15 - 11:15am | Evaluation of student performance: methods of assessment, grading, and feedback; promotion and graduation; academic and career counseling. |
| 11:15 - Noon | Interface of graduate and continuing medical education with the teaching and evaluation of medical students. |
| Noon - 1:30pm | Lunch with first- and second-year students. Discussion of student life; personal, academic, career, and financial counseling; financial aid; health services; infection control education; student evaluation of the curriculum and of teaching; student input on educational and student-life issues. |

| Noon - 1:30pm | Lunch with third- and fourth-year students. In addition to topics discussed earlier with first- and second-year students, discuss clerkships and other clinical experiences, electives, career counseling, and residency orientation and counseling. |
| 1:30 - 4:00pm | Tour of clinical facilities (to be conducted by two student guides from luncheon group). |
